Gold Coast, Australia, Summer 2004 – The Miss Hawaiian Tropic Australia 2004 swimwear pageant is held annually in Surfers Paradise, on the Gold Coast. This pageant attracts young ladies across the country, vying for the National Title to represent Australia in the US.  The winner will be treated to an all expense-paid trip to Las Vegas, Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, to compete against 81 stunning ladies in the 21st Annual Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Pageant.  During the week long event, the contestants went to places of interest such as Wet ‘n’ Wild water theme park, Ripley’s Believe it or Not!, Fly Coaster & Sling Shot thrill rides and one of Surfer’s Paradise funkiest night clubs, The Rose & Crown.  The winner for this year is Narelle Minchin, residing in Darwin, Australia.
